Cory competed in his first triathlon on the 15th of August in the Tri in the Pines. He struggled in the beginning with the swim for some reason but was able to finish strong with the 13 mile bike and the 3.5 mile swim. He was happy to see the finish line and was able to finish in 1 hour and 48 minutes. His goal was 1 hour and 40 minutes. A few months ago he wouldn't have dreamed of being able to finish the triathlon but he worked hard and was able to do it. He plans on competing in more triathlons in the future. We are proud of our husband and daddy.
